In memory of Thomas Eklund

Thomas started in Televerket’s sea cable unit 1986 as deck hand and then worked his way into the cable crew and on to operations manager, project manager and head of the cable unit. He has been a valuable part of developing the submarine cable unit in Sweden and in the fiber expansion in the Baltic Sea. He is co-founder of Baltic Offshore and has been our greatest visionary and has developed many innovative solutions through the years.

Thomas began to retreat a couple of years ago to make room for the next generation and to prioritize other values in life, but he has been a natural part of our everyday work and a wise mentor.

We will miss Thomas deeply but remember him for his many creative ideas and his big warm heart!
