Baltic Offshore signs contract to install two new 145kV circuits in Edsviken

Baltic Offshore have signed contract with Craftor AB to install two new 145kV circuits in Edsviken, Stockholm for Vattenfall Eldistrubution.

Vattenfall Eldistribution plans to upgrade the existing power line from Silverdal, Sollentuna to Edsberg, Danderyd. Planned reconstruction means that the existing 70 kV line is replaced with a new 145 kV line, part of which consists of the installation of two submarine cables for the section that crosses Edsviken.

Baltic Offshore will load the cables in Sousaki, Greece and install two new 145kV circuits including fiber optic cable in Edsviken making it Baltic Offshore’s third installation at the location. The installation works are planned to be executed during Q3 2024.
