Baltic Offshore awarded cable installation project in Estonia

Baltic Offshore together with Connecto Eesti AS have been awarded the contract for the submarine cable installation Vaike Vain II by Elering. A unique and challenging shallow water cable project which includes pre-excavated trenches, floating operation and precision laying of a 5,2 km long 123 kV Cable.

The cable also need to be transferred/floated approx. 10 km from the cable lay vessel into the shallow water installation site.

Installation work planned to be executed next year 2024 during summer period July-September.
