Estonian installation

Baltic Offshore has been awarded two submarine cable installation contracts by Merko/Connecto consortia.

The 110 kV three-core AC Submarine cable is manufactured by Prysmian and the first installation will commence already this year in Väike Väin strait.

Väike Väin scope consist of pre-trenching of 4.7 km and a challenging float out installation due to very shallow waters.

2020 the Suur Väin strait should be crossed with a 9.7 km submarine cable including protection and trenching works.
